Align Remote Control Helicopters-a Single Rotor Helicopter that has the best value

Align helicopter is a type of single rotor pitch remote controlled helicopter that is very popular. Why is it popular? This is attributed to the bare fact that they do everything right starting from its design to parts support.  It seems Align RC helis knows better the business compared to most other brands and has what is takes to produce some of the nicest birds and equipment support there is out there for the price. It seems the Align RC has domineered over the others for so long and includes its line up of T-Rex helicopters. It's after market segment has a growing number of copies of the product known as "T-Rex clones" although these don't have the same quality and build as the originals.

Align company is based in Taiwan and it was recently that it got involved in Remote Control Helicopters business. The company provides nice details in their makes of RC helis including laser engravings and other wide selection of kits that suits anyone's needs. The Align helicopters specifications are there to suit everyone's needs from the single rotor collective small size of T-Rex to the larger T-Rex 700. The different sizes are available in electric powered versions. The large sized T-Rex 600 and 700 are also available in nitro powered versions. The T-Rex 700 size can be converted to be powered by a turbine engine with inclusion of the Wren MW-44 two stage gas turbine engine.

Best Remote Control Helicopters for a Beginner

There are different levels of expertise when it comes to flying remote control helicopters. The level of expertise usually determines the type of remote control helicopter that a certain person can fly. For newbies in the world of remote control aircraft, it is a must that they start with the most cost effective and easiest helicopter to fly. Based on different information and data gathered throughout the world of remote control aircraft, the Toy type Electric Helicopters are the most suggested for beginners.

Toy Electric Helicopters or simply Toy RC helicopters are the most popular type of remote control helicopters for beginners. These remote controlled toys incorporate the use of batteries to supply electricity in order to fly. The batteries are usually rechargeable through the use of a specific charger. Charging can usually take only one hour, so it's very comfortable for beginners to practice a lot and simply charge the batteries when they got empty. The rechargeable battery that comes with these types of remote controlled helicopters makes them a cost effective product. It keeps you from buying liquid fuel (for nitro helis) very often which could make you spend a lot of money.

All about Remote Control Helicopters and their Various Types

A Remote Control Helicopters is a model aircraft different from an RC airplane in their construction, flight training and aerodynamics. There are several basic designs of RC helicopters existing today some of which maneuver more than others. These that maneuver more than others have collective pitch which means their blades rotate on longitudinal axis to reverse or vary lift. The harder to fly are the more maneuverable designs but have the added advantage of more aerobatic capabilities. Flight controls gives pilots control over collective and throttle, tail rotor and cyclic control of the helis. When all these controls are controlled in unison, the helicopter is able to perform most of its maneuvers as full-sized helicopters. The maneuvers include hovering and backward flight and other maneuvers that a full size helicopter cannot perform.

The controls effected on the RC choppers are made by means of servo motors which are also known as servos. One such example is the piezoelectric gyroscope normally used on the tail rotor control for countering the wind and torque-reaction induced in the tail movement. The "gyro" doesn't apply a mechanical force but adjusts the control signal for the tail rotor servo. The engines for the helis used to be powered by methanol and run by two stroke motors. Today, the commonly used are the electric brushless motors in combination with a high performance lithium battery for efficiency, lifespan and performance compared to other brushed motors. The decrease in prices of RC choppers has brought them within reach of many hobbyists. Other fuels used include jet turbine and gasoline engines.
