Nitrotek unveils the world's finest dual rotor remote controlled helicopter with wireless video camera function integral to the helicopter.
Nitrotek, a leader in the sales of radio controlled helicopters and cars, announced recently that they are now offering a large scale, outdoor spy copter with a built in video camera and receiver. This is the first fully functional dual rotor radio controlled helicopter with a camera built in offered in the world.
"We're very excited about offering this unique helicopter. In the past, radio controlled helicopters weren't available with cameras attached," Cathy Robertson, General Manager of Nitrotek, explained. "Some enthusiasts would order separate mini spy cameras and attempt to attach them, but the results usually weren't satisfactory. The soldering process is difficult when working with such delicate instruments, and weight distribution has to be perfect." Robertson added, "It's just something that's very hard to achieve. We've overcome that problem by offering an rc helicopter with a high quality mini cam built right in."
Nitrotek's rc helicopters with spy cameras include several features that will make them popular with radio control helicopter enthusiasts, including fast response times, no interference on the radio channels and a full eight to ten minutes flying time. Scale models are realistic to actual helicopters, such as the Hughes/MD 500 light utility version with built in spy camera.
"The beauty of these rc helicopters is that they are entirely self-contained. There is no separate power source needed for the camera, it runs off of the battery used to operate the copter itself," Robertson continued. "A USB drive is included that sends a live video feed directly from the helicopter's camera to your computer for real time video feed. In fact, an experienced rc helicopter pilot can fly the craft from their computer without being anywhere near the actual helicopter. It's truly a revolution in radio controlled helicopters for the public."
