All over runescape there are monsters that drop bones when they are killed, when you pick these bones up you can bury these for prayer experience. Below I have posted all the different bones and the amount of experience you get for burying them.

Prayer is most often used for: protect from missiles (gives total protection against enemy range attacks), protect from magic (gives total protection against enemy magic attacks) and protect from melee (gives total protection from enemy melee attacks). However you can't have more than 1 of the 3 in use, you can only use 1 at any one time.
Every level in prayer gives you a prayer point, for example if you had 54 prayer you would have 54 prayer points. The protect prayers (range, magic and melee) last for 3 seconds per prayer point, when the 3 seconds are up you use up a prayer point, when this happens you have to pray at an alter or drink a prayer potion to restore your prayer points. Some of your equipment has a prayer bonus and for every 10 prayer points on your equipment your prayer will last a extra second, for example: you have +13 prayer from equipment this means you get 4.3 seconds per prayer point (1.3 seconds from equipment + 3).
A useful tool to level up prayer quickly is the Bonecrusher, when ever this is in your inventory it buries the bones for you when the monster dies and you still get the experience points. You get the Bonecrusher as a reward from the skill dungeonering, it costs 34,000 tokens to get and you must have level 21+ in the dungeonering skill.
