If you’re looking to get your mitts on Nintendo’s motiontastic Wii console then you should probably put your impulsiveness on hold and wait until next Friday, as that’s when Mario’s parents will be pushing out a price cut. And that’s not all you’ll get, read on for more.
It looks like we’ll have to wait a week longer than the expected price snip in the States, but in return we’ll get a lot more for our money.
According to MCV, the trade price of the console will drop on 2 October but that will likely only put the Wii back on the same price footing it was on before March’s controversial price hike.
It’s not all doom and gloom, though, as it looks like Nintendo will be showering us with extras to make up for it. In addition to the regular console, Wiimote, nunchuck and Wii Sports bundle buyers can also expect to find a MotionPlus add on and a copy of Wii Sports Resort in the box as well. All this is expected to shift for £179.99.
